System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM 2008 R2)

If it is planned to use Hyper-V on a wider scale (i.e. more than three Hosts), the question of central management is quickly raised. Here SCVMM offers a central view of the virtual environment and can also integrate a VMware environment (requires the vCenter Server).

In this case, performance data which are also compared with SCOM are used to issue recommendations for optimum placement of the systems, which are also directly implementable. Information from the HP Agents can also be incorporated into these recommendations (More info. here).

R2 will also soon allow use of the new 2008 R2 features such as Live Migration.
