What is IUCLID?
IUCLID (International Uniform Chemical Information Database) is a software application available to everyone (especially companies in the chemical industry and government authorities) for recording, storing, updating, and exchanging data concerning certain properties (intrinsic, risk-related etc.) of chemical substances.

IUCLID is developed and maintained by the European Chemicals Bureau (ECB) within the Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (IHCP) at the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission. IUCLID is obtainable free of charge, and Version 5 (IUCLID 5) has been available since June 13, 2007.

Why do I need IUCLID?
IUCLID 5 is the key tool used by the chemical industry in order to ensure compliance with its data reporting obligations (e.g. when registering substances) under REACH, an EU Ordinance concerning the production and use of chemical substances.

Information about IUCLID Hosting can be obtained from the Helpdesk at TechniData IT-Service GmbH. The Helpdesk will then transfer you directly to the sales staff, who can provide you with further details.

Does TechniData IT-Service GmbH offer user support for IUCLID? 
No, TechniData IT-Service GmbH does not offer user support for IUCLID. User support is available through Technidata AG.

How can I obtain user support? 
User support can be obtained directly through Technidata AG by compiling a list of requirements and e-mailing this to IUCLID@technidata.com. A member of staff at TechniData AG will then contact you to discuss what to do next. 

Does TechniData IT-Service GmbH offer IUCLID training? 
TechniData IT-Service GmbH offers no IUCLID training. However, IUCLID training can be arranged with TechniData AG. 

How can I obtain training services? 
Training services can be ordered either by phoning the Helpdesk at TechniData AG or e-mailing the company at training@technidata.de .
